The staff at Cal Young would like to wish all of our families a restful and restorative break. The Monday following Spring Break is a non-school day to allow for staff professional development. We look forward to welcoming our students back into the building, recharged on Tuesday, April 1st.

Hello, Cal Young Middle School families! 

We’re excited to offer local businesses a chance to advertise in the 2025 Cal Young Yearbook. 

This year, we’re inviting businesses to place an advertisement in the yearbook, which will be distributed to over 500 families in the Eugene community. Your advertisement can be featured in a Quarter Page for $250, Half Page for $500, or Full Page for $1000, providing great visibility for your business. Not only will your advertisement reach local families, but your support will also help provide yearbooks for students in need and provide essential equipment for our student photographers and journalists. All advertisers will be recognized in the yearbook, and advertising may be tax-deductible. 

The deadline for submitting your advertisement and payment is April 4th.

The Cal Young Latinx Student Union is happy to announce the new date for our LSU Family Game Night.

Join us as we play games like Loteria, Bananagrams- en español, and "Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza- Edición Española"

Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

8th grade students are scheduled to take their spring photos on Thursday, April 3rd. Along with an individual photo, to be used in 8th grade promotion materials as well as the yearbook, the 8th grade class will come together for a panoramic group photo. There are no retakes for spring pictures.

There is a separate code for individual pictures and the group photo.
