    A great way to search for historical news!
    Search on a topic (i.e. Lewis and Clark) and specify a date series; Results!

    3. Vimeo
    Upload your videos to share; discover the videos of others.

    4. Wordle
    Generate a “word cloud” that presents your source text in creative ways.

    5. Animoto
    Create stunning video slideshows easily. Student accounts available.

    6. Issuu
    A “zine” that is very easy to use! Publish documents online with the look of a magazine or a book. Great for student or teacher documents! Use the “private” option and it will be available only to people with the link.

    Create screencasts – a great tool for posting instruction online.

    9. Picturing America
    Check out these beautiful, sturdy art prints from the library. They are located in the bottom poster drawer in the Library Office. The booklet has excellent descriptions of each print with teaching ideas, as does the website. Please use the sign-out sheet located at the front of the book.

    The Lexile Analyzer from the Lexile Framework for Reading

    • This tool analyzes text that you submit and returns a Lexile level. Registration is required, and the text must be in .txt format.
