Cal Young Middle School’s Site Council is made up of representatives from all areas of the school’s operation: staff, students, and parents. The Site Council is responsible for:

• the development of plans to improve the professional growth of the school’s staff
• the improvement of the school’s instructional program – CYMS_School Improvement Plan_2018-2021
• the development and coordination of plans for the implementation of programs in the school
• the administration of grants-in-aid for the professional development of teachers and classified employees.

Our monthly meetings will be the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 3:45-4:45 p.m. in the conference room or a classroom and can be found on our community calendar. In order to have a quorum, we need parents to be involved and at this time are looking for two parent representatives from ea. grade level.
