Cheer Drive Information
It is time once again for the Cougar Holiday Cheer Drive. Last year's drive was a huge success, helping over 35 Cal Young families in need during the holiday season. This year, we have more families than ever that could use a helping hand.

While there are many resources around Eugene to help families with small children make the holidays bright, the number of organizations dwindles as students get older. This annual drive allows Cal Young families with the ability to help the opportunity to give and support those of our families who are facing financial difficulties this holiday season.

Cal Young is collecting donations of gift cards to provide CYMS families who could benefit from a little help this season. We welcome any and all gift cards that could brighten the holidays for our students.

With just one week left to collect gift card donations, we need your help! There currently aren't enough gift cards for all of the families in need. Please consider donating today!

Gift cards can be turned in to Miss Alexis at the front office now through Monday, December 16th.

Thank you for helping make the season bright for all Cal Young Cougars. If you would like a receipt for your tax-deductible donation, please email Alexis at krivchuk_a@4j.lane.edu or include a note with your donation.

Can't make it to the store or in to Cal Young to bring a gift card but would like to contribute? Donate via SchoolPay. *All Holiday Cheer Drive donations go toward gift cards specifically to grocery stores.

If your family is facing hardship and could use a boost of holiday cheer this season, please sign up by filling out the google form below. The form closes on Friday, December 13th. You will receive a confirmation communication for pick up the week before Winter Break.

Lego Robotics Tournament
We're excited to share the results from the FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Tournament in Corvallis. Both of our teams performed exceptionally well and made us proud!

Cal Young Robotics Team (CYRT) placed 11th in the Robot Games and showed incredible creativity and dedication throughout the season. Senergy Energy took 10th place in the Robot Games and won the Core Values Award, demonstrating outstanding teamwork and gracious professionalism. This win means that Senergy Energy will be advancing to the State Championship round!

Congratulations to all the members of Senergy Energy: Kanim Cushman-White Eyes, Calvin Dickens, Eleanor Fike, Asher Helmer, Jax Olive, Deacon Overton, Ryan Rivkowich, Landon Robertson, Owen Rudzek and John Sanchez. Good luck at State!

Congratulations to both teams on their hard work and achievements!
